25 November – 29 January 2017

Brett Whiteley drew inspiration from the landscape of NSW’s Central Tablelands over his lifetime, from his formative years as a student at Scots College, Bathurst, to time spent in Sofala, Hill End, Oberon and Carcoar. With paintings, sculpture and drawings spanning three decades, this exhibition focuses on the enduring connection Whiteley had with the region west of the Great Dividing Range.

An Art Gallery of New South Wales and Brett Whiteley Studio touring exhibition developed in partnership with the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre
