This exhibition celebrates seven decades of Lloyd Rees’s work through paintings, drawings and prints with a particular focus on the artist’s relationship with regional Australia. Drawing from the substantial collection of Rees works in the collection of Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, In the Regions highlights the breadth of Rees’s talents as a draftsman and artist, his generosity as a benefactor, and the wealth of our regional collections.
